BOOK FAIR IN MADRID

Reading is important in any language. Last Friday opened the Annual Book Fair in the Retiro Park in Madrid. This year it hosts Italy as invited country and there are many Italian writers and activities to work on and discover Italian literature as well as many other written works: poetry, drama, novels, short stories, essays or illustrates books for all ages.

RECYCLING EXHIBITION

On 7th, 8th and 9th May 2012 there was an exhibition at the Gloria Fuertes Library in Parla. IES El Olivo was the only secondary high school that showed their project on environment together with other primary and infant education centres. Our high school displayed the work of the students done with the departments of Spanish language, Philosophy, Classical Studies,  French and English. We managed to have a wall in the library and show a part of the works our students did.
